Where Is Mararikulam?

Mararikulam is a state assembly constituency and region of Kerala's Alappuzha District.

Geographically Mararikulam is a section of the narrow strip of land jutting north from the historic trading center of Alappuzha town. The Arabian Sea borders to the west and Vembanad Lake to the east. India's National Highway NH 47 runs through the middle of Mararikulam. A narrow coastal road and a narrow road following near the Vembanad shore are the only other routes running north and south.
