The Peoples and Cultures of Italy before Rome Lecture and presentation: Dr. Corey Brennen Director of the Italian studies interdisciplinary program at Rutgers The State University and a fellow of the American Academy in Rome. A focus on pre Roman regional peoples, tribes and cultures of Italy as contributors to the base of what is more popularly known as the civilization of the Romans. Regions of Apulia, Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Sardinia and Sicily those due east and north of Rome the Etruscans.
