of language development and will familiarize students

discussed. Students will become familiar with procedures

seminar is designed to introduce newly emerging topics
in communication disorders, including cognitive
rehabilitation of closed-head injured patients,
dysphagia, and augmentative/alternative communication
for the non-speaker. Literature review and prescribed
observations will provide the foundation for studying
the nature, characteristics, epidemiology, and the
assessment/treatment protocols of the pertinent
pathologies. Prerequisite: CSND 511. |
