RESEARCH PAPER TOPIC ASSIGNMENT -- SECONDARY SOURCES.
1. First, make sure you have a "do-able" topic.
NOTE: if you do not have a "do-able" topic, you must re-do the
topic assignment AS WELL AS this assignment.
2. Locate and check out two (2) books on your topic.
a. These books MUST have been published FOR THE FIRST TIME since
1975. DO NOT pick a book which was ORIGINALLY published before 1975
and merely reprinted after 1975.
b. These books must contain FOOTNOTES or other references as
evidence for the assertions made in them. The more footnotes, the
better.
3. Use the INDEX and the TABLE OF CONTENTS to read and make notes
on those parts of the books that relate to your narrow topic.
** Be sure to make notes. You'll use them later in your research.
I may ask to see them at any time.

compile a BIBLIOGRAPHY OF 5 ARTICLES IN SCHOLARLY JOURNALS on your
