Radical Caucus Members and Friends -- Meetings At MLA ‘03

1. The Annual Meeting of the Radical Caucus Dec. 28th, at 6 p.m., in "Grover Furr’s" Room at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Call up from the Lobby, or ask around on the 26^th or 27^th.

· Just as all the other major events at the MLA are always on the same dates,, regardless of what day of the week they fall on, so the Annual Meeting of the Radical Caucus is always on the same date -- 6 p.m. on the 28th, the day before the Delegate Assembly meeting, which is always on the 29th at 1 p.m.

We are going to gather after the RC session on the 27th –

2. "War and the University", 3:30-4:45 in Manchester Ballroom D, at the Hyatt, Session 33 in the Program, p. 1476.

Of course, best if you can come to the panel itself, at 3:30! But even if you cannot, please come at 4:45. There we will do some planning.

We'll also be gathering, informally on the 27th, 28th and 29th, at

3. DW's Pub, in the Marriott (right beside the Hyatt), Lobby Level, South Tower, from 9 p.m. on.

We can talk, unwind, and also exchange experience and plan for the next day.

4. The Delegate Assembly Organizing Committee meetings on the 28th:

· the Open Hearing on Resolutions, 12 noon to 1:15, Green Room, Marriott, Session 264 in the program, p. 1513;

· the Open Hearing of the D.A. 1:45 to 3, Green Room, Marriott, Session 300 in the program, p. 1518.

I've been told informally that the Marxist Literary Group -- the fraternal group to the Radical Caucus -- is co-sponsoring this Cash Bar, instead of holding one of its own this year.
