Changes in the Requirements for an

M.A. in Applied Linguistics


Effective on September 1st, 1997, a number of important changes in the requirements for the M.A. in Applied Linguistics took effect. Among the changes are the following:

The following list reflects the changes in the numbers and titles. This includes a change in the department prefix from LNGN to APLN, number changes for many of the courses, and title changes for four of the courses. (Courses with title changes are marked with an "*".) The current numbers and titles are listed to the left. New numbers and titles are listed to the right. APLN 500 or the equivalent is the prerequisite for all other courses.
