The eighteen
credit
German
Liberal Arts
Minor offers
intermediate
and advanced
German
language
courses,
introductory
courses in
literature
and
civilization
(taught in
German), and
selected
topics
courses
about
contemporary
German
issues
(taught in
English).
All classes
and seminars
are taught
as part of a
living
culture;
students
watch films
and videos,
listen to
music, go to
exhibitions,
and travel
abroad.
Classes are
small and
students
receive
personalized
attention
both inside
and outside
the
classroom.
It is highly
recommended
that Minors
spend some
time
studying in
a
German-speaking
country.
Students
studying
abroad
will receive
credit
toward the
minor upon
evaluation
of
successfully
completed
courses.

will be an
