We are proud to congratulate MSU philosophy alumna MaryAnn Woods-Murphy on her recent teaching award. MaryAnn is a Spanish teacher at the Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale, Bergen County, and the recipient of the Teacher of the Year award not just for Allendale, not just for Bergen County, but for the entire state of New Jersey! As Teacher of the Year, MaryAnn is awarded a six-month sabbatical, use of a rental car to attend educational functions throughout the state, and a SMART board for use in the classroom. In addition, she is now entered into the National Teacher of the Year award competition. Best of luck, MaryAnn!
