Student Travel Awards

Division 27’s National Student Representatives, with the approval of its Executive Committee, have created 6 new domestic travel awards for students interested in attending the 12th Biennial Conference.  A total of 6 domestic travel awards will be given out ($300 each). All amounts are in USD. The conference is scheduled for June 18-21, 2009 and will be hosted by Montclair State University, N.J. and in collaboration with Rutgers University.

Eligibility and Application Process:
Eligibility for these awards will be limited to current student members of SCRA (both graduate and undergraduate). Applicants are required to submit a 1-2 page proposal wherein they (1) describe their interests in linking community psychology research and practice to international/global efforts, (2) outline a travel budget, and (3) include their CV. Other determining factors for the award will be the applicant's number of presentation submissions, order of authorship, distance traveled, and indicators of demonstrated need.  All application can be access through SCRA website at:
