who am i?

I am the Director of Language Learning Technology at Montclair State University. I am a recent graduate of The University of Iowa, having concentrated my studies on foreign language pedagogy and technology. Prior to arriving at Montclair State University, I was Oberlin College's Language Technology Specialist, working at its Cooper International Learning Center. For more information take a look at my cv or as a pdf.

what i do

I work with faculty, students and staff and assist them in their technology needs. Specifically, I assist faculty in the appropriate use of technology in the (foreign language) curriculum, including web site and courseware development. I provide end-user support to students using computer and other technologies in language learning. I assist staff with common, everyday computer use (explaination of software features and lots of troubleshooting). Occasionally I'll give a presentations for MSU classes.

When I have time, I try to keep current on Language Learning Pedagogy and Technology. I also try to keep the Language Laboratory's site up-to-date.
